About Us

In 2007, Mr. Abhiram Seth founded AQUAGRI with the belief that marine ecosystems could offer both environmental solutions and social
transformation. What started as a community-first seaweed initiative quicklyscaled into a robust business delivering high -performance ,sustainable iingredients to businesses across India and abroad. By empowering coastal cultivators with training, tools, and long-term support,we created a reliable supply chain rooted in regeneration, not exploitation. And by investing in technology and processing facilities, we ensured that our carrageenan meets the highest standards for performance and purity
Born at the intersection of science and social impact, AquAgri transforms seaweed cultivation into a scalable, sustainable livelihood for India’s coastal communities while harnessing its industrial potential. Today, we are among India’s leading semi-refined carrageenan producers, serving the food, personal care, and pharmaceutical industries through a fully integrated supply chain— from ocean to formulation.
